      Hi Iozza2k11

I certainly am. She has a PhD in Neuroscience, but decided to quit science and be a full-time mum when we started a family. However, I think once you’ve trained as a scientist you’re always a scientist, even if you’re not working as one. It’s to do with how you think, how you see the world, and how you tend to want to see the proof when people or companies start making claims!

Hi lozza. Man, personal questions today! The answer is no, but there are plenty of scientists who are. Once you get into it, you can find yourself in the lab for long periods of time, so you are most likely to meet people working all night like you! Luckily scientists are generally smart, funny and cool (just look at the profiles here! 😉 ) so it works out OK. In my case though, a trip to the cinema changed my life…
