They’re scientists in that they always want to understand how the world works, and ask a whole lot of questions about it! Whether they will be scientists when they grow up, who know? Whatever makes them happy is just fine by me.

      Hi Lozza
My kids are still at school (Y8 and Y11). My daughter wants to be a vet, which means she’ll be starting science A levels next year, but my son (Y8) doesn’t yet know what he wants to be, apart from a footballer. But having both parents who are scientists they get a lot of enthusiastic science talk at home.

      Hi lozza,
I don’t have any kids yet. If I did, I’m sure I’d tell them how cool science is, but I’d like them to do whatever interests them, so if they became scientists that would be cool, but if they didn’t I wouldn’t mind!

      hi lozza2k11 again!
Well i don’t have any kids so no! would i want my kids (if i ever have any!) to be scientists?? Well i’d say it is a great career and job, and very rewarding. But i think children have to find their own way, discover there own interests. It wouldn’t be right for me to push them to be scientists!
