Not really, I found science lessons quite dull. However I was really pleasantly surprised when I got to University and found that actually science is a lot of fun, and not at all like it is at school

      Hi llamas,
I certainly liked physics and biology (and I sort of liked maths) but I hated chemistry!
I don’t know why, I just never got it!
I always knew I wanted to study physics or biology in college. But, I know lots of people who didn’t really like science in school, but then did it in college and loved it!

      Eoin.

      Hi llamas!
yes i guess science was my favourite subject, although it wasn’t like i hated other subjects. Well, apart from French!! Only joking!
I also particularly liked geography, history, and sport, although i think a lot of it’s done to whether you have a good teacher.

Absolutely. It wasn’t my favourite subject, although it was by the time I got to my second year in university, but it always fascinated me. It’s an important thing – do the things you love, and you are much more likely to be enthusiastic to get to work. I certainly still haven’t lost the thrill that science gives you when you look at a new piece of data for the first time.

      Hi Llamas

I did like science when I was at school, but not really thanks to the school. Science teaching is so much more interesting now, and it was the science outside school that intrigued me, especially dinosaurs, the universe and natural history.
