I’ve not get bored yet as I’m quite new to science. But I have met people who have got bored with what they do. The great thing about being a scientist is if you ever get bored with what you are studying, you can simply study something else – no career change required

      Hi ehab2k11,
Science as a whole never gets boring – there are so many new and exciting discoveries being made everyday!
Most days, my own work doesn’t bore me, but like any other job you need to take a break from it every now and then and do something different, just so that when you come back to it, it’s even more exciting!!

      Hi Ehab

It can sometimes be frustrating but I would never call it boring. There are times when difficult experiments just wont work, or when your theories turn out to be wrong, but even then there is always the knowledge that there must be an explanation.

hi ehab yes science gets boring – but doesn’t everything at some point??
Take my day today – i spent a lot of the afternoon rewiring my testing chamber (where i test the mini-rockets), which was extremely dull, and quite tedious. But its the general view you have to take – by rewiring the chamber i’ll hopefully get better results, that means that i can move on and do more exciting things!!

No, never does – since the whole point is trying to discover new things, it just can’t get boring!
