hi totallygnarly again and thanks for your interest in my research.
Well i’m only building the mini-rockets for the mini-spacecraft, so i can’t be sure how big the spacecraft would be. But probably it would be used on cubesats – these are tiny satellites that measure 10cm by 10cm by 10cm! About the size of a small shoebox or a nintendo gamecube! Often though these cubesats are joined together when they are built to build a larger spacecraft – say 30cm by 10cm by 10cm. This makes the a little more shoebox shaped.
The rockets themselves are absolutely tiny! The nozzle of the exhaust of the rocket is 10 millionths of a metre – a hundreds of a mm. To see it i use a Scanning Electron Microscope – which IMO is the coolest microscope ever!
