Hi Silverfox
In laser eye surgery a very fine laser cuts away a thin slice of the front of your eye. This changes the thickness of the front of the eye, and therefore the amount that light bends as it passes through. By measuring your eyesight beforehand, surgeons can figure out exactly how many millimetres need to be removed in order to refocus the light and thus correct your vision. Huge numbers of people have this done, it’s a really safe procedure and evidently works well. Think I’ll be sticking to my glasses though.
Same. So is there anything to do with changing the back of the eye? (i think it’s called the retina…?) Because i swear i’ve heard something to do with that.
