      Hi Ben
      Here’s a topic I know nothing about. We had some photovoltaic panels put on top of our house a couple of years ago, and I *think* they’re passive because they don’t use any energy in generating energy – like for example, they don’t move to follow the angle of the sun.

      I have no idea!! Never heard of it!
      Just looked it up and it seems to be about the absorption of heat from radiation, and the balance between the absorption and the emittance – why do you ask about it?? Why are you interested in it??
