I have no idea. I know that it does though, and this means I can get google, iplayer, and youtube wherever I am! 🙂

      Hi Emma
I’m not a physicist, but I suspect that radio waves must be the answer?

Hi Emmajennings. Sorry, I’m a biologist, so don’t know all the details. My understanding is that WiFi works on radiowaves, just like your cell phone does – your computer converts whatever the data is into radio signals, that then get projected around by an antenna in the computer.

hi emma i have to admit i’m not tto sure. Isn’t it radio frequency electromagnetic radiation going to a router that’s directly connected to the internet???
