      Hi oliveerrrrrrrr.

I really love what I do, so wouldn’t really want to anything other than a scientist. I have thought about being a teacher though – communicating what is cool and exciting about science is something I like about my current job (which is why I signed on for the craziness that is I’m a Scientist get me out of here). If I absolutely couldn’t do new research, I wouldn’t mind teaching new research to others.

hi oliver i think i’d want to be a sports star. I’m pretty tall and sometimes feel that height is a little wasted doing science! I think maybe basketball, or tennis, although we are talking in a different life, as currently i’m rubbish at both!

      HI oliverrrr,
      A good question!
I was pretty good at english at school and thought I might be a writer or journalist. But science was just to tempting and I became a scientists instead!

      Hi Oliveerrr

I have a lot of other interests, but one thing I’d love to do is write the musical scores for movies. I constantly have musical ideas, but never any time to write them down or record them.

I’d love to be a writer. The good thing about being a scientist is that the work I do is so diverse, it’s not all labwork and experiments (although I find those the most interesting) there’s a lot of interacting with the public, doing demos in schools, presenting your work at conferences, and I do a lot of sciency writing for the University newspaper – so there’s really something for everyone.
