I didn’t find it too bad. So long as you keep up with the work, perhaps spend half an hour looking over your notes for each lesson after school, then you’ll find it rewarding and useful for going on to A level. But doing a little study each evening is vital – it needn’t be too long
Sorry, wrong person to ask – grew up in New Zealand, so never took any GSCEs. It sounds hard, but like most things, it isn’t for ever – work like crazy, and one day it will be over.
My daughter is doing her GCSE science exams this summer, and although it looks like quite a bit of work, I don’t think it’s too difficult. But like most subjects, if you really enjoy them then they never actually seem so hard. Either way, good luck when the exam comes round.
hi carys! It’s been a while since i did my GCSE’s so i might have changed recently! I think though i did triple science – it’s worth two gcse’s isn’t it??
I remember it being pretty good. i have to admit that i never liked the biology side of it, and found that tricky. But overall it was good – i’m in the end a science geek so i enjoyed most of it!
