      Hi Adarsh
The answer is, not yet! However, there are scientists in labs all over the world working towards this goal, and the first patients should be getting treated next year. This makes it a very exciting time for eye research, but the challenges are formidable. Can the new cells be delivered to precisely the right location in the eye? Will the host eye cells try to attack them? Will the new cells survive and do the job they’re meant to do? And if so, how long will they last? Lots of questions, but right now a lot of hope too.
