• Question: To what effect does the predator-prey evolutionary relationship change, and shape the earth and soil around the organic life which is living and changing in it? Thanks

      Hi there,
Organisms living in the soil experience the same sorts of selective pressures as organisms in other ecosystems. Predators and prey are both locked in an ongoing battle to get the upper hand. On the one hand, the soil is just the ‘stage’ on which all this plays out, but it also has a real effect on both predator and prey!
