I think the answer to that question is that we do all use the entirety of our brains everyday. The saying that we only use something like 10% of our brain is I’m afraid false. The brain needs activity to survive, if for some reason a region of the brain is not used (say after a stroke) that area of the brain dies because we don’t need it. The brain even needs activity to develop. For example when babies are born they can’t see properly, that’s because their eyes are not connected properly to the brain, they need to use their eyes in order to make the connections between the eye and the brain necessary for sight.
Another example is coma patients. Even people in comas have measurable brain activity, no part of their brain is completely inactive.
