      hi gg i don’t really know, i would guess about 7 billion.
      Just looked it up on wikipedia – its estimated to be 6.91 billion. By 2050 ths population is projected to be between 7.5 and 10 billion. The wikipedia article seems excellent actually – have a look at it!!

      I think we are up to about 7 or 8 billion at the moment. Staggering number, but fewer than the numbers of cells in our bodies….

      Last time I checked it was around 7 billion people, and rising rapidly!
