      HI Themadgers

I find dogs really interesting, perhaps because I have a really cute one. But they have an amazing capacity to learn and seem to have a natural affinity for humans – which is unusual in animals.

Madgers, to me the most interesting animals are gorillas and chimps. So similar to us on the genetic level (their DNA is more than 97% identical to ours), so similar to us in many other ways (they get HIV and malaria, just like us), but also so different. That’s the cool thing about genetics – very small changes in DNA can have big impacts on how an organisms looks and lives.

      hi themadgers!!
I’m no zoologist (i’m not even sure whether that is the right term!), but i’d go for the duck billed platypus. Such a crazy mix of traits in one furrry creature!
