      Hi powderfinger,
Thanks for your question. Happily I’ve never been serioulsy sick. I was in hospital when I was really young (6 or 7, I think) getting my adenoids removed (they are located at teh back of the mouth/nose) but that’s the only time I was in hospital.

I’ve had a few bad cases of flu and food poisoning in my time, but nothing too serious.

      Hi Powderfinger

I’m not sure I properly understand the question. If you mean, what is the worst illness I’ve had, well it’s probably a really bad flu I had when I was a student. I couldn’t move for a couple of weeks. But if you mean, what do I get sick of – like at work, well it has to be the routine paperwork (staff appraisals, health and safety etc) that I have to complete as lab head.

      hi powderfinger again!
Honestly not much really!! I came off my bike alst year and the handle bar went into my thigh – that was pretty eventful although sprisingly not so painful!! Plus it has given me a giant man-scar on my leg!!! I still ride around, with the same handlebars that’s been stuck into my body!
I guess that’s not really being sick though – i’ve got slight asthma does that count!
