• Question: whats ur favourite film

      Favourite film? Changes every few years! Favourite film of the last couple of years is probably The Hurt Locker, or maybe 500 Days of Summer. Of all time? If I had to choose, it would be Before Sunset, which you probably have never heard of – it didn’t do very well, but I loved it.

      Favourite science film is probably Gattaca – sci fi film set in a future where everyone’s career is determined by the DNA sequence of their genome. It raises really interesting questions about how much of who we are is determined by genes (not as much as everyone thinks, but more than you probably sometimes want to believe).

      Hi Pazza,
      I’ve got lots of fave films. It depends what mood I’m in. I really like Shawshank Redemption – that’s probably my all time fave.
      If I’m feeling in the mood for funny, sentimental film, I like “Planes, Trains and Automobiles” with John Candy and Steve Martin.
      I also really liked The King’s Speech, which was in the cinema recently.

      Hi Pazza
      Easy one for me – it’s Casablanca. Just about every line has become a quote, if you’ve never seen it I can absolutely recommend it. The fact that it’s in black and white just adds to the atmosphere and sense of time going by.

      Good question – mine prbably is star wars! Not because i think it is the best film ever, but because it brings back fond memories. My dad used to have a vhs where he had recorded star wars off itv – with really old adverts and all! I strongly remember sitting in front of the tv, really close to the screen, fascinated by the film!
