• Question: Whats your favourite meal and why?

      Hi phoebesmart,
      Of course, given my research area, I love potatoes!
      But my favourite meal is a big bowl of mussels covered in a white wine and cream sauce! Delicious!!

      My favourite meal is probably fish and chips. I do like fancy stuff too, but there are times when you just can’t beat a really fresh piece of haddock in a light crisp batter, with proper chips (not French fries) made from Kind Edward potatoes, served with malt vinegar, salt and a slice of lemon. I’m feeling quite hungry now.

      hi phoebe thanks for your question!
      Well at first i thought i’d be all cheesy and say my mums cooking – but in reality shes not the beast cook in the world! I grew up on fish fingers and frozen peas.
      I’d have to say something italian – pasta in a good strong tomato and meat sauce!!

      Sushi! I know I work with parasites, and lots of my parasite friends tell me there all kinds of nasty things in raw fish, but can’t help myself…
