That depends where you are in the world and what type of eclipse you mean: a total or partial eclipse or a lunar or solar eclipse?

NASA have a nice website that tells you when the next one is due in your area:

      Hi GGD
Are you asking about the next total eclipse of the sun? I was lucky enough to see one in Northern France in 1999, a really strange and wonderful experience. There won’t be another one in Northern Europe for many years, but the next total eclipse will cross the south Pacific in 2013. There’s a useful map showing the next few eclipses here.

hi the next partial solar eclipse (where the moon only blocks out a part of the sun) is on June the 1st 2011. IT will only be viewable from the north polar regions though.
The next full solar eclipse will be on November the 13th 2012. It’ll occur over the south pacific so sorry not near the uk!
Did you know that these solar eclipses are predicted by advanced computer models of the soalr system?? they can predict the start and end of the eclipses to the nearest second! For example the eclipse on Nov. 13 2012 is due to start at 22:12:55 and end at 23:48:24 (why are these times during the night?? Well to make things simpler the times are all taken from greenwich mean time (in london), where it will be night)!!

Nasa has a really cool eclipse website – it tells me that there will be total lunar (moon) eclipses in June and December this year. Just google Nasa and eclipse, and you will know when to get your telescope out!
